Copyright / DMCA Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

Neumaz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Users create and upload sheet music, compositions, and other content ("User Content") to the platform, including in the Store. This policy explains how to report copyright infringement involving User Content and how we respond.

1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe User Content available on Neumaz infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent that includes, per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (e.g. a link or the composition/store listing name).
  • Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

2. Designated Copyright Agent

Send notices to our Designated Agent at dmca@neumaz.com. A current mailing address for our agent is on file with the U.S. Copyright Office's Designated Agent Directory.

3. Counter-Notification

If User Content you uploaded was removed in response to a notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@neumaz.com that includes your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where Neumaz may be found).

4. Repeat Infringers

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5. Contact Information
